    I don`t think so,as this economic crisis deepens the value of metal is plummeting.

    That was the case a year ago with the penny, but commodity prices in general have fallen since then, not sure about zinc (which makes up 99% of a penny’s metal content). The other coins, probably not — there’s not much more metal in a quarter than in a penny, but it has 25 times the monetary value.
