Coins are not cast, they are stamped out of sheet metal using matching dies = coining. You can cast shapes like coins but they are going to need finishing and other processes that will normally give them a non-coin like feel.
If you want to see the casting steps, which involve making a same size soft clay model of each side, making a latex (or silcone) soft mold from that or a plaster mold, pouring wax to make a wax positive of both sides, finishing, sprueing, investing, burnout, melting, pouring, trimming and finishing, you can look at what I have done

To be honest, you would likely get more value out of the silver if you carved rings, small plaques, and other jewelry from wax and cast that directly.
