First off i started collecting 6 months ago and have acquired coins from a Morgan to Seated liberty half to silver eagle, presidential dollar, commemoratives, etc. I purchased my first gold coin a 2008 $5 buffalo graded by ANACS in SP 70(satin) Now i am looking to purchase a $10 platinum eagle and have narrowed it down to a 2008 NGC coin. I am aware that these coins come in MS 69/ MS 70 with a regular label or the E.R. I like the idea of early release but would like to have a MS 70 grade. Looking at PCGS price grade a 1997 $10 in MS 70 is listed at $7,000. The value of a 1997 $10 in MS 69 is $145 so this brings me to believe that i am much better off purchasing a 70 grade. (tho they did not offer E.R. in 1997) I am looking at this from a collectors viewpoint and would like to say that i own a $7,000 coin (i am aware this may not appreciate in all cases) would paying $300 dollars for a regular 2008 MS 70 be overpaying by too much, this seems to suit my price range as i know platinum is around a G/ounce. i am trying to decide between the regular label MS 70 or an E.R. 69 please share anything advice/comment you may have. 21/male. thank you

Remember my motto, “Money is money is money.” This video explains my reasons for not buying the ESA. If you are one who believes in an economic collapse is likely to occur, so why do you buy the ESA? The reason I prefer the silver tower generic little weight should be obvious in this video….. is that I expect a collapse Economic before seeing a return to American economy once again strong (IMO)………… Microphone

A large number of fake American Silver Eagle bullion that are produced in China are sold as the “true” in the world. With you, a little knowledge can avoid becoming a victim of these criminals. This article shows five things to watch for not being ripped on the purchase of American Eagle silver and where you can buy authentic items at the lowest price.

Listen to the sound

Hold the silver eagle in a white-gloved hand and gently tap it with another piece. If this is the reality is heard like a bell when you press. However, if it sounds a little metal – as a sort of Dink – when you touch it, you can be sure it is not money.

Watch the coin

Even experienced currency authenticators, often will not be able to tell you exactly why a coin is a counterfeit. For some reason, however, just does not seem quite right. Real American Silver Eagles have relief and a beautiful shine. They do not seem completely gray and cloudy. If your instinct tells you it’s a fake you should go with your instincts.

Check the date

What is surprising is that a large number of fake Chinese American Silver Eagle is dated 1906. How could it not that counterfeiters Silver Eagle was struck in the early eighties later? If you see a coin with the wrong date does not think you have an extremely rare error. What you found is a fake. Save money and do not buy it.

What makes Edge look like?

Watch the edge of the coin. If they have a comb asset and not a real Silver Eagle. It’s probably a fake Chinese coins. Now, even if it is necessary to examine the comb is a bit “more attention, because even if some have a false comb edge as a seam along the edge.

What is the weight of money?

Genuine American Eagle Silver weighs one troy ounce, which is 31. 1 grams. If the currency you are considering buying or weighing less than 31. 1 grams do not buy. While everything else may seem right, the weight of a coin is something more evil than any forger.

How to buy safely Real American silver eagles

If you want to buy American Silver Eagles Real one of the safest ways to buy on eBay and here’s how:

Besides finding some of the best prices around on eBay you can also control the votes of each vendor. What you should look for is a vendor that has a lot of positive feedback. The more the better.

Then look at how much money is set before the offer. If you have any questions at all in your mind contact the seller by e-mail your answers to questions before making your purchase.
